Overview of Role:

Recruiting experienced Rail Operations Lead to lead D2 capability in this area with our clients in UK & Canada. Initially working on high-profile infrastructure projects across the North West and looking to expand our service offering in UK & Ireland and Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading D2 rail operations team and developing this service offering to new and existing clients in UK & Ireland and Canada.
  • Responsible for delivery of Rail Operations support and advice in accordance with Client requirements.
  • Provide innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence to ensure time efficient, exemplary quality outputs in terms of rail operations.
  • The ability to deliver rail operations advice during various stages of the project lifecycle for new and existing infrastructure changes.
  • Build and maintain long lasting Client relationships, providing “best in class” service, while upholding our Core Values of Trust > People > Integrity > Innovation.
  • Responsible for provision of support to junior/ intermediate operations team to aid in delivery of the above.

Requirements:

  • Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status (or working towards this) and/or educated to degree level.
  • Ability to communicate the programme to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of rail operations advice/support on large multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of rail infrastructure
  • Experience of working with TOC’s, FOC’s and rail maintenance teams on major infrastructure programmes.
  • Knowledge of/experience in the UK infrastructure projects
  • Provides operational expertise to support in the development and delivery of schemes across the route & regions in UK
