Overview of Role: This role is the central point of contact for reporting within the Project Controls team, responsible for producing accurate period-end reports and consolidating inputs from all disciplines. It also leads the development of improved reporting practices, ensuring outputs are clear, consistent, and provide valuable insight to support effective decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for schedule reporting – including analysis on period performance, forecast, float erosion.
- Responsible for collation of project period reporting pack.
- Responsible for any ad-hoc schedule analysis.
- Responsible for commercial period-end reporting - including provision of commercial trends on underperformance.
- Responsible for procurement reporting.
- Responsible for risk reporting.
Requirements:
- Project controls/ programme performance expert with reporting bias; but experience and understanding of all disciplines and ability to interlink in reporting (e.g. schedule, cost, risk).
- Expert in PowerBI (M language and DAX required) and Excel.
- Great understanding of other controls/management tools such as P6, Aphex etc.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain programme controls concepts to all audiences.
