Overview of Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join our expanding, Manchester based, Programme Performance team, who are supporting several high-profile Infrastructure Projects/Programmes. Additionally, this role will provide the opportunity to innovate and collaborate with our experienced Data Performance & Reporting community and award-winning Programme Performance team. This role can be based in either of our offices in Manchester, Leeds or York.
Responsibilities:
- Working with project delivery teams—either embedded within a programme performance team or independently – the responsibilities will include:
- Driving implementation & continuous improvement in data and performance reporting (and interfacing project controls) processes to create efficiencies and benefits to our clients.
- Developing fit for purpose data performance and reporting management plans for our clients based on project requirements, data maturity and best practice.
- Promoting the benefits and requirements of Data Performance and Reporting within delivery teams.
- Implementation of integrated data and reporting hierarchies and approaches.
- Support the definition of KPIs and performance measures dictionary.
- Leading teams of data performance and reporting professionals to deliver effective, consistent, assured and value adding performance information to our clients across complex programmes.
- Present / provide data performance recommendations to relevant stakeholders and senior management to support effective decision making.
- Training and coaching clients and junior team members on data performance and reporting management processes and practices.
- Undertaking line management and mentoring activities including career and competency development.
- Continuous review of existent reporting practices against client requirements to ensure adherence to scope and value add.
Requirements:
- A Project Controls related qualification (e.g. Project Planning & Controls, APM PMQ)
- Experience undertaking data and digital reporting activities in multiple complex projects.
- Demonstrable track record in providing project controls support to the configuration and setup of project reporting information systems.
- Practical experience of implementing Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting and performance reporting and analysis.
- An understanding of how other aspects of Programme Performance (Planning, Cost Control, Scope and Change Control and Risk) interact with reporting.
- Familiarity of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, nPlan etc).
- Experience in using data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Power Apps).
