Overview of Role: D2 offer tailored and impartial advice on Information Management and Document Control. The business has a track record of delivering holistic management of project information and understands the challenges and complexities which can arise from project to project. The core objective for the appointed Document Controller would be to assist in the collation and final hand back of Health & Safety files to the National Records Group (NRG).
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the teams using the document management system, in particular the CDM-PD and integration teams.
- Assist in the creation and management of progress trackers, including H&S handback specific documents such as the Deliverable Document Matrix (DDM).
- Manage the collation and compliance checking of all evidence to be submitted to the NRG as part of the Health & Safety Handback File.
- Manage any ProjectWise access requests from the NRG to enable smooth handback.
- Keep a clear route of communication with relevant teams to ensure the H&S file is being populated from an early stage in the project, including leading briefings and trainings to project staff.
- Develop and run reports, provide quantifiable data and analysis on request.
- Compliance check and maintain online data.
- Assist where necessary with the Red Line drawing to As Built process.
- Compliance check and hand back as As Built drawings to the NRG.
- Work with the Head of Information Management to put in place efficient and effective processes to ensure the successful management of H&S hand back including lessons learnt, best practices and future improvements.
- Maintenance of H&S process documentation and guidance resources.
