D ZAMBELIS Ltd is a family run business, based in South Woodham Ferrers, that has sold tools and consumables to the stone industry for more than 29 years. We have offered years of excellent service to hundreds of loyal UK customers and provide a high-quality, friendly and informative service. The placement is to join our friendly team, where there is a personal culture and close communication with the owners and other employees in our new and modern premises. We are looking for someone with a dedicated work ethic, a willingness to work hard and learn quickly.
The position responsibilities will include:
- Managing existing and new customer accounts, dealing with customers over the phone and building a relationship with them and learning the products they buy.
- Handling orders - producing estimates, delivery notes and invoices.
- No cold calling, no sales targets.
- Processing orders, collecting and packing products, which requires manual labour and lifting in the warehouse.
- The position is office and warehouse based.
- Learning technical information on products sold.
- Dealing with new enquiries, upselling and promoting new products.
Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, where telephone skills are vital.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, email).
- Relevant customer service and sales experience of a minimum of 2 years.
- Able to work independently in a busy environment.
- Processing, packaging and dispatching incoming orders, able to lift heavy boxes.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office, as well as Windows, with further IT training provided.
