We are looking for someone enthusiastic and friendly to join the team at Kempston Library to deliver a high quality and welcoming service to a diverse range of customers. You will be excellent at multitasking, proactive and able to communicate clearly and confidently. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to use ICT competently and securely.
You will help customers with the self‑service system, answer enquiries, provide ICT and digital support, and take part in library activities and carry out routine library tasks. While the base location is Kempston Library, you will be expected to work flexibly and cover other local libraries when required.
The role involves carrying books, pushing trolleys, lifting boxes, walking and standing for long periods.
