Bedford Borough Council is looking for a Benefit Assessment Officer to join its busy team.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • You will have experience of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support Legislation.
  • You will be able to work under pressure whilst retaining a high level of accuracy.
  • You will be able to communicate with internal teams, customers and landlords.

The team is currently hybrid with some scope for working from home, but you must be available to work in the office at Borough Hall to undertake all required training.
