D R Nolans & Co is a respected, long-established Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy practice known for delivering trusted, independent advice across construction and property projects from historic buildings to prime and super-prime residential developments. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Business Development Manager who understands the Quantity Surveying and Construction Consultancy sector and can expand our client base, strengthen existing relationships, and bring fresh energy to how we position the practice within the industry.

What you'll be doing
You’ll be at the forefront of our growth, building relationships, creating opportunities, and positioning DR Nolans & Co as the go-to consultancy for trusted cost advice. Your work will blend strategic thinking with genuine human connection. In a nutshell, you will:
- Drive new business, build a healthy pipeline, and convert opportunities
- Manage and grow client relationships to create long-term partnerships
- Represent the practice at networking events, industry forums, and exhibitions
- Work closely with Directors and Senior QSs to shape proposals and win work
- Use market insight to spot trends, opportunities, and competitor activity
What we're looking for:
We are looking for someone who understands the services we provide and the consultancy sector in which we operate. Experience within a Quantity Surveying, Cost Consultancy or Construction Consultancy environment is essential. You may already be working in a business development role within the industry or be a Quantity Surveyor or construction professional looking for a new challenge in a commercially focused position. You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and representing a professional consultancy in the market. The successful candidate will be able to build credibility with clients and industry professionals through their understanding of the construction and property sectors and the value of the services we deliver.
