Mechanical engineer I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is highly regarded within the industry. This role will play a crucial role in a state-of-the-art facility. My client is looking to add a mechanical engineer to the team. Job: Mechanical engineer Shifts: Monday to Friday double days Salary: £42,400 + 10% matched pension Complying with the health and safety policy and regulations * Carrying out risk assessments with the relevant people and put controls in place to minimise the risk to acceptable levels where reasonably practicable * Lock off any dangerous machinery immediately/ or repair and notify * Resolving breakdowns, carryout PM’s and work on project / improvement works with a view to minimizing production downtime Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred) * Experience with Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement * Familiarity with SAP is a plus
