We are currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a growing food manufacturing business based in the Telford area.
This is a key role with responsibility for the end-to-end supply chain , including demand planning, production planning, inventory, capacity planning and S&OP.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the supply chain team.
- Manage demand, production and supply planning.
- Drive inventory optimisation and service levels.
- Lead and develop the S&OP process.
- Oversee capacity and production planning.
- Identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage ERP/MRP systems and supply chain data.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations and Finance to improve overall performance.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years' supply chain management experience.
- Strong food manufacturing experience.
- Experience across demand, production and inventory planning.
- Previous team leadership experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with S&OP and ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- A full UK driving licence due to multi-site travel.
Relevant CIPS/APICS qualifications or Lean/Six Sigma experience would be advantageous.
