I have an exciting role that will immerse you in the technical side of the industry. You\’ll be working with a global leader in their field, with a strong presence across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the USA.
Hybrid 3 days a week from home Manchester based.
Core Responsibilities:
- ·Registrations – Support in registrations information gathering, collating, tracking, data uploading and communications to relevant parties.
- Packaging Obligations – Complete ownership of the packaging obligations tracking and submissions.
· Reviewing requirements for packaging tax obligations per region and ensuring we are meeting compliance and requirements globally.
- Horizon Scanning data/information gathering for Food Safety, Suppliers, ESG & Packaging. Highlighting any risks to relevant parties.
- Regulatory checks on Artwork – Working with the Registrations & Regulatory Technologist to ensure regulatory checks on artworks are completed.
- Registrations Cover – In times when the Registrations & Regulatory Technologist is on holidays to ensure the registrations processes continue to progress and raise any concerns to leadership as needed.
- Work with Customer Services and other departments to answer Technical queries from consumers, retailers, etc.
- Reviewing administrative systems and processes to find better ways of working.
Support:
- Log global quality complaints in supporting the Quality & Compliance Team when required.
- Inputting product information on the PIM system.
- Newsletter – Deputy to the monthly technical newsletter.
- Deputy – Different areas will be mutually agreed to cover off in a deputy capacity as part of the teams development and ability to work agile as a team when other team members are off from work.
- Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role.
- Assist with recall procedure and product issues in different countries.
Essential
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience within a technical discipline, in a food manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of a Quality/Technical functions, including processes, process flows, specifications, artwork.
- IT literate including use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Focus on detail – a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective communicator – excellent communication skills are required as working collaboratively with suppliers, customers and stakeholders is a key part of this role
- Time management – uses time effectively to manage a busy workload with the ability to prioritize important tasks
- Learning and development – desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future
- Open to change – ability to work in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment
- Communication skills – ability to clearly and concisely communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders within the business
- Strong analytical and numerical skills – ability to interpret and understand complicated information and systems
