Job Title: Site Engineering Manager

Location: Cheshire

Hours: Monday to Friday – Days

Salary: £50,000 – £56,000 per annum

I am working with an established UK based FMCG business who are currently experiencing a huge growth phase after a recent international investment. They are seeking a Site Engineering Manager to join their growing team.

They are looking for a time-served, multi-skilled engineer with a proven track record in people and stakeholder management who has developed hands-on expertise in providing technical support and resolving complex issues in real-time.

The ideal candidate will need to have a keen understanding of lean manufacturing principles and the food production industry, well-versed in optimising processes and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers to ensure safe, efficient operations and minimal downtime
• Oversee proactive, planned-preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise plant efficiencies
• Manage contractor performance and support the introduction of new equipment
• Collaborate with technical teams to maintain audit readiness and ensure regulatory compliance
