Senior Reliability Engineer

Working with a rapidly growing, net-zero focused start-up, we are looking to introduce a Senior Reliability Engineer into their team. Pioneering some of the world\’s most versatile technology, this is an exciting opportunity for those who are looking to contribute positively to the environment.
Inheriting product modules designed and built by the delivery team, you will monitor the pilot plant experimental phases, paying particular attention to breakdowns and problem solving, learning the key reliability weak points of their technology in extended operation.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and optimising equipment reliability in collaboration with our operations team.
- Creating a reliability model to interface with planned condition based monitoring initiatives, predicting uptime effectively for current and future plants
- Identify any important failure modes and input ideas for product improvement.
- Get involved in failure analysis, using multiple methodologies to find root causes and propose improvement plans
Requirements:
- industrial experience with significant exposure to reliability engineering, maintenance protocols, and/or operations across multiple industries
- Demonstrated understanding of hazard and risk identification
- A passion for optimising technical solutions.
- Functional understanding of chemical, electrical, mechanical portions of various unit operations
