Packaging Technologist

As a Packaging Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in the development and delivery of innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging. You’ll work cross-functionally with NPD, Marketing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring packaging solutions meet aesthetic, functional, and environmental expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new packaging solutions from concept through to launch.
• Ensure packaging is fit for purpose, aligned with brand values, and compliant with regulatory and sustainability standards.
• Conduct technical assessments and line trials for compatibility, functionality, and performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure quality standards.
• Continuously improve existing packaging in terms of cost, sustainability, and user experience.
• Support project timelines, risk assessments, and technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or equivalent in Packaging, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in a packaging role within FMCG – ideally beauty, personal care, or cosmetics.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, innovate, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
