Operations Manager – Renewable Energy

The Opportunity
Our client is a leading developer of ground-mount solar farms and commercial rooftop solar projects, driving the UK’s transition to clean energy. As they continue to expand, they are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee project development, stakeholder communication, funder liaison, and operational processes.
This is a key leadership role within the business, managing a small team and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. If you have strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring smooth project progression from development to completion.
- Manage funder relationships, providing critical project milestone updates and ensuring financial close is met.
- Oversee project operations, working closely with internal teams across sales, technical, legal, and construction.
- Ensure compliance and due diligence, handling legal documentation, technical reviews, and reporting.
- Supervise and develop a team, allocating work and ensuring timely delivery.
- Support procurement and financial modelling, ensuring cost efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in project and operations management, ideally with an electrical or renewable energy focus.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of commercial solar PV and energy solutions is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), and financial modelling.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and highly organised.
