You would report directly to the Regional General Manager and lead the technical function across key Southern operational sites, partnering closely with site engineering and manufacturing leads to drive operational excellence.
The “day job” is to lead, manage, and develop the regional technical teams, oversee quality management systems, maintain food safety standards, manage pest control, and lead customer and third-party audits. The big picture is to champion continuous improvement across product quality and process efficiency while successfully landing safe NPD and EPD projects across the region.
Southern Region, Full-time / Multi-site Regional Role Up to £80,000 + benefits & direct budgetary control
So if you have at least 5 years of food manufacturing technical leadership experience, strong knowledge of audit and retailer web systems (Hive, TQC, Evolve, SEDEX), and a degree/HNC/HND in Food Science or equivalent.
