Location: Hybrid (3 days office-based near Warrington / 2 days remote)

We are currently partnering with a global leader in the distribution of industrial and specialty ingredients to recruit a Business Controller to join their finance team based near Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a well-established international business and play a key role in driving commercial performance, transparency, and strategic insight across the organisation.

The Role:

  • Supporting monthly business performance reporting
  • Assisting with the divisional budgeting and forecasting process
  • Providing financial analysis to improve commercial transparency (profitability, credit limits, etc.)
  • Supporting approval workflows between regional and corporate controlling teams
  • Producing ad-hoc analysis and situation-specific reports
  • Monitoring and supporting the use of Controlling systems

Candidate Profile:

  • Full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) – essential
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with experience in an industry-based finance role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft O365, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP and data management (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is advantageous; experience in the specialty ingredients or related sectors is a plus
  • Own transport essential due to location of site
