UK Training Manager\\nLocation: Greater Manchester with UK Coverage (multi-site)\\nSector: Food Manufacturing / FMCG\\n\\nSalary Range: £50K – £60K + car Allowance + Benefits\\n\\nI’m currently working on behalf of a leading UK food manufacturing business that is seeking a UK Training Manager to lead their training and development function across multiple sites.\\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who’s passionate about driving performance, ensuring compliance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAs UK Training Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programmes that enhance employee capability while meeting key regulatory and operational standards. You’ll work closely with departmental heads and site leads to ensure learning is aligned to business goals and food safety requirements.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Lead the development and delivery of training strategies across functions\\n\\n * Conduct training needs analyses and develop site-specific and role-specific training plans\\n\\n * Design engaging programmes covering food safety, hygiene, H&S, soft skills, and leadership development\\n\\n * Manage SOP creation, review, and implementation\\n\\n * Ensure all programmes meet BRCGS, HACCP, and other regulatory compliance standards\\n\\n * Oversee training records and documentation for audit and management review\\n\\n * Support the implementation of Train the Trainer and leadership development frameworks\\n\\n * Leverage the Apprenticeship Levy effectively and maintain knowledge of DAS and levy transfer opportunities\\n\\n * Drive innovation through digital tools and e-learning platforms\\n\\n * Monitor performance and impact using clear KPIs and training data analytics\\n\\nYour Skills & Experience\\n\\n * Demonstrable experience leading L&D or training functions in food manufacturing\\n\\n * Strong understanding of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and compliance\\n\\n * Proven ability to manage training teams or coordinators\\n\\n * Hands-on experience designing, delivering, and improving training programmes\\n\\n * Knowledge of Apprenticeship Levy systems and strategic utilisation\\n\\n * CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or equivalent relevant qualification) preferred\\n\\n * Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills\\n\\n * Organised, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects and reporting cycles
