D R Newitt are working with a close client in the food industry who due to growth are looking for a Planning Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Key duties
- Lead, coach and develop the Planning, Scheduling and Stock Control teams.
- Own and lead the end-to-end monthly S&OP process.
- Lead the weekly and daily S&OE process.
- Oversee forecasting activities across all customers and product categories.
- Ensure production plans support customer demand whilst maximising operational efficiency.
- Maintain ownership and governance of inventory management processes.
- Ensure planning processes deliver industry-leading service levels.
- Develop robust plans to support future growth requirements.
- Develop and maintain meaningful planning KPIs and management information.
- Lead planning process improvements and best practice implementation.
