Overview

Senior MRICS Rating Surveyor role in a growing London rating team.

You will provide rating appeal advice, manage client relationships, and deliver strategic rating guidance across a varied client base.

Responsibilities

  • Provide rating appeal and mitigation advice to clients
  • Manage and develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • Advise on rating assessments, CCA appeals, empty rates and completion notices
  • Negotiate appeals and provide strategic rating advice
  • Collaborate with wider property teams to identify and develop opportunities
  • Manage own workload, clients and deadlines
  • Key requirements
  • MRICS qualified with proven Rating experience
  • Strong knowledge of rating legislation and case law
  • Experience providing rating advice and negotiating appeals
  • Valuation Tribunal experience preferred, Upper Tribunal experience advantageous
  • Strong client management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with Rating software
