Salary: £40,000 + Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the upkeep of the accuracy of laboratory results.
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Continuing laboratory testing methods and SOPs.
  • Methodology of the testing in the laboratory.
  • Validate analytical procedures.
  • Managing and ordering minimum stocks of laboratory consumables.
  • Supervising that NPD physical parameter results are correctly transferred from NPD to Technical.
  • End-of-life and testing of samples are followed according to the testing programmes.
  • Managing the external laboratory testing requests and overseeing that they are done correctly.
  • Out of specification results and corrections.
  • Assuring competency and training of laboratory staff.
  • Creating templates.
  • Upkeep laboratory practices.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in laboratory management.
  • Analytical chemistry environment.
  • Food manufacturing experience (FMCG).
