D R Newitt are working with a close client in the food industry who due to growth are looking for a Planning Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. On offer is a salary of up to £50,000 plus unique company benefits. You will be joining a hugely progressive and well renowned business in the industry. Key duties: * Lead, coach and develop the Planning, Scheduling and Stock Control teams. * Own and lead the end-to-end monthly S&OP process. * Lead the weekly and daily S&OE process. * Oversee forecasting activities across all customers and product categories. * Ensure production plans support customer demand whilst maximising operational efficiency. * Maintain ownership and governance of inventory management processes. * Ensure planning processes deliver industry-leading service levels. * Develop robust plans to support future growth requirements. * Develop and maintain meaningful planning KPIs and management information. * Lead planning process improvements and best practice implementation.
