A major FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a National Account Manager to join their team and lead an approx. £1-2M portfolio of foodservice accounts. This role will be managing and growing existing accounts with a degree of business development. Reporting into the Head of Foodservice, the National Account Manager will ideally need to visit site once per week and will be on the road the remainder. Former experience servicing the Foodservice customer base is essential for this role.
National Account Manager responsibilities include:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving growth in your assigned accounts.
- Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align strategies and initiatives.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key foodservice accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities within the foodservice sector.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide reports on account performance and market trends.
You will be a National Account Manager with a proven track record in delivering within a Foodservice account base and within a food manufacturing environment. You will need a solid understanding of the foodservice market and industry trends and exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
