This is a full-time, on-site role for a Labourer based in Jessie Street, Polmadie. Due to continued expansion we have various roles available. This position is physical in nature and involves heavy lifting, working within a factory environment. The successful candidate will be involved in lifting and palletising concrete products, ready for distribution to our customers. Working as part of a team you will work to a schedule with a target amount of product to empty, palletise and manufacture each day. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with real opportunities going forward for promotion into more senior roles. A number of our team have been with the company for over 25 years and hard work is encouraged and rewarded.

Duties:
  • Palletising concrete products for distribution.
  • Ensuring quality control protocols are followed.
  • Working with hand tools.
  • After training, working with large handling equipment on our production line.
  • Cleaning your working area each day ready for the next.
  • Following health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Assisting with site organisation to facilitate smooth workflow.
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Labourer or working within a Production line environment.
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery safely.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
