We're looking for a Vehicle Stock Checker to travel between our York, Hull, Doncaster and Grimsby sites.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have an excellent eye for detail alongside being organised and logistically minded. As a Stock Checker, you will be an integral part of our company's functioning and so we're looking for someone who gives 110% to every task they are given. You will need to be self-motivated, confident working alone and demonstrate strong time management skills. Experience with Pinnacle would be advantageous.

Role and Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will cover numerous sites, namely: our York, Hull, Doncaster and Grimsby sites. There would be opportunity to cover other sites to meet business needs, with advance notice of this being provided when necessary.
  • The selected candidate would be expected to perform stock checks both inside and outside, so they must be comfortable working outside in the elements.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure vehicle stock levels are maintained to ensure they meet the needs of the business.
  • You will be expected to accurately account for and maintain inventory records of all vehicles across the business.
  • When needed, you will be expected to investigate any discrepancies and locate error sources; implementing necessary action to ensure future accuracy.
  • You will need to maintain a clear and concise system for stock checks.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to maintain excellent customer service standards, representative of both the company and brands we represent.
  • The successful candidate will be able to provide accurate and concise information regarding all stock when called upon to do so.
  • You will also assist in ensuring Dealer Transfers are dealt with proficiently and precisely when necessary.
  • The chosen candidate will need to ensure all records and documentation are accurate and stored safely to maintain confidentiality and ensure audits can take place efficiently.

Working Hours

The selected candidate for this role will work 9/10 days a month between (Monday- Friday). The days will be flexible to suit the successful candidate. Candidates will need access to their own vehicle to be able to reliably commute to and from sites.
