Overview
Divisional Financial Controller for Kia, Ford, Changan and Select Used Cars. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller with strong cross-functional collaboration across the business, including the Divisional Brand Director and Site Accountants.

About You
We are recruiting a Divisional Financial Controller who will take overall responsibility for financial management across our Ford, Kia, Used Car Ossett and New Changan sites. The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller and develop strong working relationships across the business, particularly with the Divisional Brand Director and Site Accountants.
The ideal candidate will be an established dealership or divisional accountant, ideally a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).Franchised motor trade experience is essential, with prior experience managing multiple sites. You should be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage staff at all levels, with a proven track record of managing a team. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise to meet tight month-end deadlines are required.
Responsibilities
- Leading the divisional finance team in the delivery of accurate, timely monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial reporting.
- Providing accurate and timely management information in collaboration with the Divisional Brand Director.
- Performing accounts reviews with the Brand Director and Site Dealer Principals.
- Understanding Manufacturer Bonus schemes and ensuring earned bonuses are accrued appropriately.
- Providing monthly commentary on the division’s performance for the Board.
- Controlling month-end shutdown on the Dealer Management System (Pinnacle).
- Overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual tax compliance.
- Attending operational meetings and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Liaising with non-financial departments and staff members.
- Supporting the business on profitable growth, highlighting opportunities and risks.
