We\’re looking for an experienced, adaptable Workshop Controller to join our team in Bradford.

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family run business in the AM top 50 and represent one of our fantastic manufacturer partners.

Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our very humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 50 car dealers in the country. Across our 26 businesses we have a stable workforce of over 600 people, many of whom have been with us for years. About you

This is an exciting challenge for an experienced Workshop Controller with excellent management skills, your main focus will be supervise and prioritise the Technicians in a very busy workshop. You will be tasked with supervising a team of Technicians to make sure the work is done to high Brandstandards whilst adhering to departmental budgets and timescales. It will be your job to make sure the vehicle goes through the workshop in a seamless manner, liaising with the Service Advisorsto ensure thecustomer is kept fully up to date. It is a busy service department that will offer you the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to help drive the department forward.

We are looking for someone with a like for like background, so experience within a Workshop Controllers role will be advantageous. However, we may also consider a strong candidate who wants to move up or someone with experience who can fit straight in.

We would like you to have strong people management skills and be able to demonstrate that you can control a workshop of Technicians efficiently.

Quality Control experience would also be advantageous.
