Job Description
D. M. Keith is looking for an experienced and commerciallyfocused Parts Manager to join our growing Aftersales teamin Sheffield .
This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility forthe Parts operation supporting Mercedes-Benz, Changan, Subaru andMitsubishi , alongside our growing Trade Parts business.
We are looking for someone who understands that a greatParts operation is about much more than ordering and supplying parts. You willplay a key role in ensuring our workshops have the parts they need, ourcustomers receive an excellent service, and our Trade Parts operation continuesto grow profitably.
You will lead the Parts team, manage stock and suppliers,maximise sales and gross profit, and work closely with our Aftersales andWorkshop teams to deliver an efficient, commercially successful operation.

About the role
As Parts Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-dayperformance of the Parts Department, including:
- Leading,developing and motivating the Parts team.
- ManagingParts operations across Mercedes-Benz, Changan, Subaru andMitsubishi .
- Developingand growing our Trade Parts business and customer base.
- Ensuringexcellent parts availability for our workshop and retail customers.
- Managingstock levels, ordering, obsolete stock and stock ageing.
- MaximisingParts sales, profitability and gross margin.
- ManagingParts purchasing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Monitoringand improving Parts department KPIs and financial performance.
- Ensuringaccurate stock control and regular stock checks.
- Identifyingopportunities to increase Parts sales and improve departmentalprofitability.
- Workingclosely with Service Advisors, Technicians and Aftersales Management tominimise vehicle downtime.
- Maintainingexcellent relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Ensuringall Parts processes, systems and manufacturer standards are followed.
- Deliveringconsistently high levels of customer service.
- Supportingthe wider Aftersales team to achieve our commercial and customersatisfaction objectives.
- Ensuringthe department operates safely, efficiently and in line with companypolicies.
About you
We're looking for an experienced Parts professional who isready to take the next step in their career, or an established Parts Managerlooking for a new challenge.
You will be commercially minded, organised, energetic andcustomer focused .
You don't need to have worked across all four brands. What'simportant is that you have strong automotive Parts experience, understand whatmakes a successful Parts Department tick, and have the ambition to improveperformance.

You will ideally have:
- Previousexperience as a Parts Manager, Assistant Parts Manager orexperienced Parts Supervisor within the automotive sector.
- Strongknowledge of automotive parts and Parts Department operations.
- Experienceof working with workshop, retail and/or Trade Parts customers .
- Astrong commercial understanding, with the ability to manage sales, marginsand stock effectively.
- Experienceof leading and developing a team.
- Excellentorganisational and communication skills.
- Aproactive approach and the ability to identify opportunities to improveperformance.
- Strongattention to detail, particularly around stock control and financialperformance.
- Theconfidence to work across multiple franchises and manufacturerrequirements.
Trade Parts experience would be highly advantageous.
