We are looking to recruit a driven, ambitious individual tojoin our Skoda/BYD Hull team as Sales Manager.

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family run businessin the AM top 50 and represent one of our fantastic manufacturerpartners.This role comes with a competitive basic salary of £35,000 withan achievable OTE of £65,000.

Key objectives within the role

  • Toachieve and strive to exceed all targets and sales objectives through awell-developed and motivated sales team.
  • Ensurethe sales team have full knowledge and understanding of product,promotional and marketing activities, and communicate visions and goals tostaff by planning and preparing thoroughly for the daily sales meeting.
  • Ensurethat the department is adequately staffed in order to achieve departmentalobjectives.
  • Conducta detailed induction with all new sales personnel, and continue to monitorachievements and review individual’s performance through the Company’sdevelopment review process.
  • Tomanage the training and development of the sales executives, developingskills to support improvements in job performance and to aid careeradvancement.
  • Delegateresponsibilities to appropriate personnel and monitor progress to ensurethe task is completed as directed
  • Towork with the Head of Sales to formulate policies and procedures toachieve maximum profitability
  • Developstrategies, objectives and action plans to increase business and ensuremaximum profitability and volume sales targets are achieved and exceeded.
  • Plan,oversee and monitor the completion and success of sales campaigns,advertising and promotional activities to maximise car and extras salesand also create and maintain a positive and professional image of theretailer.
  • Analysecurrent procedures to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Builda strong rapport with financial institutions and other relevantbusinesses.
  • Tomaximise sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention ofcustomers.
  • Ensureappropriate communication is sent to all customers to establish long-termmarketing objectives. Consult with customers to establish their needs andcontinue to maintain good relationships with customers by meeting andexceeding their expectations. Handle dissatisfied customers calmly,resolve complaints with sensitivity and involve others when needed.

Hours:

Your normal working hours are Mon-Fri: 8.30am to 6.30pm.

Sat:9:00am-5:00pm

Sun: 10:30am-4:00pm
