We are looking for an experienced Dealership Accountant to join our accounts team for our Suzuki dealerships. This role will be based at Suzuki Keighley. You will be involved in the day-to-day running of the finance team, supported by a team of two. You will report to the Group Financial Controller.
This is a permanent position, initially providing 12 months of maternity cover based at our Suzuki Keighley dealership. Following this period, the role will transition to an alternative D M Keith dealership, likely within West Yorkshire, with the exact location to be confirmed based on the successful candidate\’s home location and business needs.

About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in the motor trade and have worked as an accountant. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence the Dealership Principal. You may possess an accounting qualification or be qualified by experience. Experience with DMS and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required.
The role includes overseeing all aspects of the finance function, such as:
- Preparing management accounts and composites for submission to manufacturers
- Managing financial reporting, compliance, and accounting processes, including sales and purchase ledgers to ensure timely payments and debt collection
- Supporting the dealership\’s management team with accurate reporting and trend analysis
- Maintaining the site\’s balance sheet through regular reconciliation
- Coaching and training junior team members
