About Us
Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our very humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 50 car dealers in the country. Across our 26 businesses we have a stable workforce of over 600 people, many of whom have been with us for years. We are always on the lookout for nice, genuine people who genuinely care about our customers and have a can-do attitude.
Our recruitment philosophy is that we recruit for attitude and train for skills, which means that although we’re often looking for specific technical skills, if you like working with customers and you are attracted by our Family Values of Fit, Fun, Family and Fearless, you’ll fit in well here and we’d like to hear from you even if you have no experience of the automotive industry.
About You
As our Marketing Executive (Aftersales & CRM), you will help us build stronger, more useful relationships with customers throughout their ownership journey. You will work with the Group Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Executive to plan Aftersales, retention and CRM activity, before taking ownership of its delivery. You will be supported by our agency partners, head office Aftersales team, and other members of the marketing department. The role combines customer communications, campaign delivery, data-led marketing and commercial thinking. You will help make it easier for customers to understand and book the services they need, while supporting the business in generating workshop bookings, improving retention and creating timely finance renewal opportunities.

- Finance Renewals and Retention: Support the planning and delivery of finance renewal marketing across D. M. Keith’s vehicle brands.
- Campaign Coordination and Delivery: Take ownership of delivering agreed Aftersales and CRM campaigns from brief through to launch and reporting.
- General Marketing Support: Approximately 25% of the role will provide flexible support across wider group marketing activity.
Requirements:
- At least 12 months’ previous experience in a marketing, CRM, email marketing or customer communications role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using CRM, email marketing or marketing automation platforms to segment data and target campaigns.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- An understanding of email marketing measures such as delivery, open rate, click rate and campaign response.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A commercial mindset and an interest in how marketing activity contributes to bookings, retention and sales opportunities.
- A collaborative, practical and can-do approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small, busy team.
- Experience within automotive retail, aftersales, customer retention or finance renewals would be advantageous, but is not essential.
What we offer:
- 30 days annual leave inclusive of 8 bank holidays.
- Preferential rates for servicing and repairs on your family and friends’ cars.
- A workplace pension scheme.
- £25 contribution to eye tests.
- Cycle to work scheme.
