We are looking for a highly skilled Bodyshop Paint technician to join our team in Leeds. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family run business in the AM top 50!
About the Business
Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our very humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 50 car dealers in the country. Across our 26 businesses we have a stable workforce of over 600 people, many of whom have been with us for years. We are always on the lookout for nice, genuine people who genuinely care about our customers and have a can-do attitude.
About you and the role
We are looking for someone with a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines whilst still working meticulously and providing world class service.
The role will require you to be able to prepare and paint vehicles to an outstanding standard using both water based and solvent paints where required. The selected candidate should have strong knowledge on how to mix paints from a colour scheme where required demonstrating a keen eye for detail. You should also be able to polish and finish all work to showroom standard. The ability to strip, fit and carry out minor repairs would be advantageous.
To be successful in this role, good time keeping skills, the ability to work independently and understanding of safe ways of working in line with legislation will be fundamental.
3 year’s experience within Bodyshop and an ATA Paint / NVQ Level 3 Paint qualification are desired from all applying candidates.

Working Hours
