We have a unique opportunity to join our team at D M Keith Kia Doncaster, as a Workshop Controller. This is an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy both the fast‑paced environment of the workshop and have a keen eye for detail. This role is a rare chance to be a fundamental link between our Workshop and Service administration, and to provide the highest standards of customer service, delivering a smooth customer journey both in the Workshop and out.

Our business started over 60 years ago and has been in the same family ever since. From our very humble beginnings, we have grown to be in the top 50 car dealers in the country. About the role
As Workshop Controller you will be expected to oversee the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently and allocated to maximise productivity. You will need to ensure all work is completed in line with Brand and D M Keith standards; ensuring Health and Safety and quality/compliance regulations are met. You will monitor performance of the Technicians and spot any areas for improvement, relaying feedback where necessary to ensure the workshop is operating proficiently. You will liaise with the Service Manager and Service Advisors to manage customer expectations and deadlines, providing a smooth customer journey in line with D M Keith expectations. You will be fundamental in supporting the team around you, including Aftersales management to maximise profitability and performance. Within your role as Workshop Controller, you will also support with Warranty Administration. You will assist in processing warranty claims, accurately and in line with manufacturer guidelines—taking care to make sure claims are compliant and submitted within the required timeframes. You will have a keen eye for detail and be process driven, maintaining accurate documentation for audit purposes. Strong communication skills will be fundamental as you will be required to coordinate with manufacturers regarding any relevant warranty queries and rejections.
