D&M Contractors Ltd are one of the leading suppliers of Facilities Maintenance within the Southeast and are currently seeking an additional planner to join our small friendly team based at our Head Office in Sidcup, Kent. Our Blue Chip clients are mainly in the Leisure and Retail sectors with a very small amount of Social Housing Clients.

This is a fast paced role working alongside a long standing member of staff as well as our Helpdesk team that will require a good working knowledge of MS Office suite. Training will be provided to enable effective use of our bespoke client/job management system and internet based client portals. The working hours for the role will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Your main duties will be to allocate works to our team of road based engineers (multi traders, plumbers and electricians) for both planned and reactive maintenance works so a good geographical knowledge of the home counties, Southeast and East Anglia would be preferred.

As well as continually updating our clients portals with live information, you will also be required to assist engineers calling into the office with issuing of order numbers, checking their completion of jobs complies with our requirements and assisting clients calling in for updates on jobs in progress so an excellent telephone manner, calm, customer focused attitude is a must.

The role will initially be based on a fixed term of 6 months with a view to this becoming permanent depending on suitability and the needs of the business.
