D&M Contractors Ltd are one of the leading suppliers of Reactive and Planned Maintenance Services in London and the Home Counties. With the recent acquisition of several Blue Chip Client Contracts, we are seeking experienced Electricians based within 40 miles of the M25 including Central London, Essex, Surrey & Hertfordshire.

These are mobile roles (van, fuel card and PDA etc. will be provided). You will be required to visit various client sites across London and the Home Counties, predominantly commercial premises, to carry out both reactive and planned maintenance and repairs across a broad range of trade skills/disciplines. Ideally, you will already be carrying out reactive and planned maintenance works using your Electrical skills.

Electrically qualified maintenance engineers will predominantly be allocated to trade specific jobs; however, there may be, on occasion, the need to attend non-trade specific callouts to provide a presence on site and gather information required for further trades to re-attend. We strive to provide a 1st time fix on every callout; however, it may also be necessary for you to use your skills and experience to gather comprehensive information for surveyors and estimators to provide quotations for larger repairs and maintenance issues.

You will need to be an excellent communicator (both written & verbal) who enjoys meeting people and resolving problems proactively and efficiently, with good basic IT Skills.

In addition, you will need to hold the following qualifications/experience:

  • City & Guilds in Electrical Installations
  • NVQ 2 and 3 or Equivalent
  • AM2 Qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391-51 or 2391-52 Inspection qualification
  • 18th Edition Qualification
  • Min' of 3 Yrs Experience of Electrical Reactive/Maintenance
  • Knowledge / Experience of testing electrical installations
  • Knowledge of Emergency Lighting
  • Good fault finding skills

The following would also be desirable (not essential as training can be provided): UKATA Asbestos Awareness Training, PASMA, IPAF, CSCS/JIB Card.

If you are looking for a role with a well-established and constantly progressive Maintenance provider, please forward your CV for consideration.
