This role owns the stock planning at D.LOUISE. You will combine commercial instinct with hands-on planning, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time to maximise sell-through and revenue.

The Opportunity

D.LOUISE is scaling rapidly across the UK, US and new international markets. We are looking for a Demand Planner/Merchandiser who is obsessed with numbers, stock performance and trading. We want someone who spots trends before they peak and makes this role is for a true trading operator: someone who loves data, stock turns and margin as much as they love a bestseller report. You will plan, trade and react at pace owning the numbers that keep the business healthy and growing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning & Forecasting
    • Build and own accurate demand forecasts across all SKUs, categories and channels
    • Use sales trends, seasonality and trading patterns to plan stock requirements weeks and months ahead
    • Identify fast-movers and slow-movers early and act with urgency.
    • Align buying decisions with sales forecasts to avoid both overstock and lost sales
    • Monitor sell-through daily and make fast decisions on markdowns, promotions and rebuys
    • Partner with the e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure product visibility drives sell-through
    • Maintain healthy stock levels across all warehouses and channels with minimal aged
    • Build and run weekly stock health reporting sell-through rates, weeks of cover and intake
    • Proactively resolve stock imbalances, working with suppliers and ops to keep flow moving
    • Ensure stock data integrity across all systems and flag discrepancies immediately
  • Analytics & Commercial Decision-Making
    • Build simple, actionable dashboards for daily, weekly and monthly stock and trading performance
    • Identify trends fast in both sales and stock and turn data into decisive action
    • Present clear, number-led recommendations on range, pricing and investment decisions
    • Understand margin dynamics, sell-through targets and how stock decisions drive profitability
  • New Product Launches & Range Planning
    • Collaborate with the product to size new launches accurately
    • Monitor launch performance in real time and adapt plans quickly based on early signals
    • Ensure new ranges land with the right stock depth to capitalise on demand without
    • Feed trading insights back into product development to shape future ranges

Who You Are

  • A hands-on demand planner or merchandiser with a proven track record of maximising sell-through and stock efficiency
  • Obsessed with numbers and data – you live in stock data, spreadsheets and trade reports.
  • Able to spot trends quickly and act on them
  • Confident making decisions fast with imperfect information, knowing when to back your instincts
  • Commercially sharp, with a clear understanding of how stock decisions affect margin and profitability
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful you find solutions and propose them
  • Able to balance detailed analytical work with a big-picture trading mindset

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in demand planning, merchandising or a commercial role.
  • Proven track record of driving sell-through and managing stock health at pace
  • Strong proficiency in Excel – you build your own models and tools
  • Experience working with inventory management systems and reporting tools
  • Comfortable working closely with leadership and being accountable for significant
