The Regional Stock Controller will be responsible for implementing stock management policies and procedures. You will ensure accurate and efficient stock management in partner and distributor outlets, with correct stock entries updated promptly. The role involves establishing and adhering to stock control procedures to safeguard company stocks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze stock reports, including aging and optimization, for visited ECs.
- Identify discrepancies, excess stock, or shortages, and determine necessary actions.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for variances or discrepancies.
- Investigate underlying causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review infrastructure mapping to ECs, highlight ECs with low SEPs, redistribute aged stocks, and optimize stock allocation based on velocity.
- Perform physical verification, regular reconciliations, and monitor stock activity.
- Develop and implement inventory policies and procedures.
- Prepare and distribute inventory and consumption reports regularly.
- Participate in monthly and annual stock counts, reconcile physical counts with records, and report variances.
- Reconcile stock deliveries with purchase orders and invoices.
- Coordinate with warehouse team to reduce inventory obsolescence.
- Ensure accurate and timely stock data updates for reporting.
- Escalate variances promptly to the warehouse manager.
- Conduct spot checks on stock balances and document anomalies.
