We are particularly looking for a part-time team member for this on-site Optical Assistant role based in Hyde. The Optical Assistant will greet patients, manage appointments, and handle front-of-house duties, including answering phones and responding to basic inquiries. Daily tasks include supporting optometrists during clinics, preparing patients for eye examinations, and updating patient records accurately. The main role will be assisting patients with frame selection, advising on lens options, measuring and fitting spectacles, and processing orders and payments. The Optical Assistant will help maintain a clean, organised practice environment and may support basic administrative tasks such as filing, stock checks, and coordinating with suppliers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an optical practice is essential; additional training will always be provided for the right candidate.
