We are a well-established and growing transport operation based in the West Midlands, operating a modern fleet of 8-wheeler tipper trucks and rigid HGVs. We carry aggregates, soil, construction materials and bulk loads for a wide range of commercial and construction customers across the region. We hold a standard national operator licence and take compliance, safety and professionalism extremely seriously. We are looking for experienced, reliable and safety-conscious HGV Class 2 tipper drivers to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an 8-wheeler tipper truck, delivering and tipping bulk loads at a variety of commercial, construction and quarry sites across the West Midlands and surrounding areas. You will be an ambassador for the business at every customer site and will be expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, safety and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating an 8-wheeler tipper truck safely and in full compliance with all road traffic legislation and the conditions of the operator licence
- Completing a thorough walkaround check before every journey and submitting an accurate defect report (whether defects are found or not) in accordance with the company’s defect reporting policy
- Carrying out safe tipping operations at customer sites, ensuring the tipper body is positioned correctly and that all safety protocols are followed
