Join DCS Group as our next Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) and play a pivotal role in driving our sales and margin growth across leading UK customers.
We’re looking for a commercially minded, results-driven account manager who can lead customer strategy, negotiate with impact, and unlock category growth opportunities across both branded and private label portfolios.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-profile role with P&L ownership, strategic influence, and people leadership responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and deliver the customer strategy for key accounts – building JBPs and unlocking profitable growth.
Deliver supplier objectives in line with joint business plans.
Lead collaborative volume and value forecasting with accuracy and consistency.
Manage all aspects of the customer P&L including supplier investment, rebates, accruals, ROI, and financial modelling.
Influence range, distribution, and promotional strategies, driving share gains across categories.
Monitor and analyse EPOS data and competitor intelligence, producing actionable insights.
Develop strong relationships across customer buying, category, supply chain, operations, and finance teams.
Coach and develop a Key Account Executive or National Account Manager into a high-performing team member (where applicable).
Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for medicines and medical devices.
Experience & Skills:
Proven track record in National Account Management within FMCG, retail, or related industries.
Results-focused with strong commercial awareness and P&L ownership.
Advanced negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communicator with strong presentation and meeting leadership skills.
Category management, forecasting and data analysis expertise.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and business reporting.
Experience in developing leadership and coaching direct reports desirable.
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English as a minimum.
