DCS Group is looking for an experienced and reliable Order Picker to join our Warehouse team.

The role will involve accurately picking goods from inventory using scanners or a headset, building secure pallets and ensuring products are handled safely to minimise damage. You will also be responsible for following customer instructions, maintaining accurate stock movement and operating equipment in line with Health and Safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Pick the correct quantity and type of product using scanners or a headset
  • Follow customer-specific picking instructions
  • Handle products carefully to prevent damage or contamination
  • Report damaged or contaminated stock promptly
  • Build and shrink-wrap stable pallets for transportation
  • Complete pre-operational checks before using PPT equipment
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and in line with regulations
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Good Distribution Practice requirements
  • Maintain high standards of Health and Safety
  • Support with general warehouse duties when required

About you

You will:

  • Be trained and confident in the use of a PPT
  • Have good numerical skills
  • Be accurate, dependable and safety-conscious
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Take pride in handling stock carefully and maintaining quality standards

Relevant training will be provided, including Health and Safety, Manual Handling, GDP and Quality Management System induction.
