The role is based from our Banbury office 5 days per week.

Main Job Purpose- Deliver supplier objectives: Create and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to deliver on supplier and DCS targets.
- Customer insight and strategy: Maintain deep understanding of assigned customers, including KPIs, contacts, retail formats, shopper demographics, corporate and category strategies, pricing and promotional frameworks, and competitive landscape.
- Own customer strategy: Take full accountability for the development and execution of the customer strategy.
- Forecasting: Lead collaborative volume and value forecasting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic business modelling: Develop long-term business models that incorporate supplier investments and track return on investment.
- Budget and investment management: Implement, track, and optimise customer investment plans, managing rebates, accruals, and financial claims effectively.
- Drive distribution and core range: Influence customer assortment to maximise distribution and core range penetration.
- Data and insights: Analyse EPOS and competitor data to drive insight-led decisions and identify opportunities.
- Reporting: Produce timely, insightful reports for internal teams and supplier stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities related to medicines and medical devices comply with Good Distribution Practice and regulatory requirements.
- Strong commercial awareness with proven P&L ownership.
- Demonstrated results orientation and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Skilled in negotiation and influencing key decisions.
- Customer-focused with a passion for long-term relationship building.
- Experience in category management and data-led forecasting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong planning and organising capability.
- Experience working with EPOS data and customer reporting tools.
Drive and exceed DCS sales and margin targets by building strong, strategic partnerships with key customers. Grow market share through category, customer, and shopper-led initiatives. Own and deliver accurate volume and value forecasts for the assigned customer group. Continuously enhance DCS’ commercial performance by influencing customer behaviour, optimising supplier investment, and managing terms that impact key financial levers.
