The Opportunity
This is much more than a planning role.
Supply Planning Manager , you'll be responsible for leading and continuously improving DCS's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring demand, supply and operational capacity remain aligned.
You'll play a critical role in balancing customer service, inventory investment and operational efficiency while driving improvements in forecast accuracy and supply chain performance.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll transform data into actionable plans that support growth and help keep our supply chain running at its best.

- What You'll Be Responsible For
- Planning & Forecasting
- Leading and continuously improving the S&OP process
- Developing accurate demand and supply plans
- Managing forecasts for promotions, seasonal peaks and new product launches
- Supporting product lifecycle planning, including the management of obsolete SKUs
- Ensuring stock levels remain aligned to customer demand and business objectives
- Supply Chain Performance
- Monitoring inventory, forecasting and service performance
- Driving improvements in forecast accuracy
- Managing stock availability while controlling inventory costs
- Supporting improvements in distribution and operational efficiency
- Monitoring key metrics including OTIF, inventory levels and supply performance
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Working closely with Commercial, Sales, Manufacturing and Operations teams
- Acting as a key link between customer demand and operational capability
- Resolving supply and demand challenges proactively
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, customers and logistics partners
- Ensuring business planning decisions are data-driven and commercially focused
- Leadership & Development
- Leading and developing Supply and Demand Planning teams
- Coaching team members to enhance capability and performance
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Supporting succession planning and talent development
- Encouraging collaboration, accountability and operational excellence
About You
- We're looking for a commercially minded planning professional who thrives on analysing data, solving problems and influencing business performance.
- You'll be someone who can see the bigger picture while remaining detail-focused, with the confidence to challenge, collaborate and drive positive change across the organisation.
- Experience within Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management or S&OP
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent problem-solving capability
- Experience managing inventory and forecasting processes
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to influence decisions at all levels of the business
- Customer-focused and commercially aware mindset
- Resilient and adaptable approach within a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Sage or a similar ERP system
- FMCG, manufacturing or supply chain experience
