A new opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join us caring for our 225 happy and highly productive dairy cows, on our well invested farm on the Cotswolds.
We are a friendly lot and take a collaborative approach to problem solving, with the help of our vets, nutritionist and breeding advisor.
The farm has supplied a premium retail contract for 25 years. Candidates need to be able to meet the high standards our buyer expects from its producers.
Duties would principally involve calf and young stock rearing and relife milking and TMR feeding.
Plus general yard work and fencing.
Applicants need to be confident milking unsupervised and able to identify any health or welfare problems with the cows and other stock they are responsible for.
The ability to recognise bulling cows, monitor and assist calving cows and basic foot care is required
Two years dairy experience in the UK
Full UK driving license
Telehandler trained and certified
Proof of right to work in the UK

The farm is in an AONB, but only ten minutes from shops and a gym, but is also within easy reach of London, Bristol and the Midlands.
