We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester/Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have good mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and testing.
Duties:
- Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicle makes and models in accordance with legal and safety standards for classes 4, 5, and 7.
- Routine vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs as required.
- General mechanical repairs, including brake, suspension, and engine work.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and test results.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic / MOT tester with relevant qualifications.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid MOT tester licence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £32,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
