About The Role
To support the CZ Board by managing the global compliance and regulatory responsibilities applicable to CZ, including customer due diligence, risk assessments, policies and controls, governance, compliance training and monitoring legal and regulatory developments within the jurisdictions CZ operates in.
- Tasks & Responsibilities
- To develop and manage the CZ compliance policies, procedures, processes, and controls including the areas of Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery, Sanctions and Market Abuse.
- To identify occurrences of regulatory change which influence the activities of CZ.
- To advise and assist the business to enable compliance with any applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
- To work with all departments to develop policies, procedures, controls and training designed to minimise the risk of breaches of legal and regulatory requirements.
- To manage and deliver against CZ's ESG requirements.
- To manage CZ's governance obligations, including Companies House and FCA filings.
- To work with all departments and CZ offices to ensure clear communication of the spirit and letter of compliance related policies and procedures.
- To take responsibility for your performance and to work together to achieve our organizational goals.
- To attend training courses which are identified as being necessary for the performance of the role.
- To be fully conversant with the Employee Handbook and supporting policies, including Health & Safety legislation and fire and emergency procedures.
- To comply with any reasonable instruction issued by your manager.

About You
We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes
Essential
- A degree, preferably legal.
- Minimum 4 years' experience working in the financial sector.
- Understanding and/or commercial experience of UK and US regulatory environments, preferably with an exam qualification.
- Ability to interpret rules and regulations and translate them into policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of legislation underpinning Sanctions, Compliance and Financial Crime.
- Ability to act with integrity when dealing with confidential matters.
- Ability to supervise and coach junior members of staff.
- Business level fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Advanced communication skills.
- Strong I. T. skills including proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Self-starter with the ability to use initiative for problem solving.
- Resourceful, innovative and proactive.
- Personable with the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels both internally and externally.
