About Cytix
Cytix is a fast-growing, AI-native application security platform helping organisations identify and manage software vulnerabilities earlier in the development lifecycle. Rather than relying solely on traditional security testing methods, Cytix analyses changes made throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to understand what potential risks could be introduced with each change. Using AI-driven analysis, the platform determines what should be tested and how those risks should be validated, enabling security teams to focus their efforts where risk is most likely to occur. This approach allows organisations to identify vulnerabilities earlier, reduce risk, and ship secure software faster.
The Role
This isn’t a typical “dial all day” SDR role. As one of the early commercial hires at Cytix, you will play an important role in helping build our outbound engine and shaping how we engage with security leaders across the market. You’ll be responsible for engaging senior security leaders, including Heads of Information Security, Heads of Application Security, and CISOs, introducing them to how Cytix is changing the way organisations approach application security. To thrive in this role, the right mindset is essential. We’re looking for someone who is confident, motivated, and willing to go the extra mile to create opportunities. You’ll be naturally curious, creative in your outreach approach, and comfortable operating in the fast-paced environment of an ambitious startup. At Cytix, we work with a high degree of autonomy. What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving outbound prospecting through a mix of cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted campaigns
- Supporting and collaborating with the marketing team on outbound email campaigns
- Managing and qualifying inbound leads
- Engaging senior security leaders including CISOs, Heads of InfoSec and AppSec leaders
- Booking and qualifying meetings for the sales team
- Researching target accounts and identifying new opportunities within regulated sectors
- Contributing ideas and insights that help refine Cytix’s go-to-market motion and how we engage with the market
- Representing Cytix at industry events and conferences when opportunities arise
