The Field Application Scientist – EMEA position for Cytiva provides technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers, and customers during the sales process, working directly with clients.
This role reports to the Manager of Field Application Scientists and is part of the Genomic Medicine division in Europe. It is fully remote. Our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Pre-sales: Support the commercial team by promoting Cytiva Nano Medicine products, managing leads and prospects, developing opportunities, attending trade shows, and providing technical expertise to evaluate customer processes and identify solutions to increase sales and uncover new opportunities.

Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, set quarterly priorities within your territory, and contribute to account plans managed by the Account Management team.

Gain a strong understanding of Cytiva Nano Medicine products and applications, monitor competitor activities, and provide feedback to Marketing and Product Development teams.

Coordinate and conduct customer training sessions, applications seminars, and product demonstrations. Provide technical training to the sales team.

Offer customer support via phone, email, and in person, troubleshooting technical issues and interpreting customer needs to determine appropriate resolutions.
The essential requirements include:
-
Master\’s Degree in biotech, genomic medicines, nanomedicines, or equivalent experience.

Experience with applications or lab work in nanoparticle formulation, drug delivery, or cell biology; troubleshooting instrumentation and applications.

Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, account management skills, and sales aptitude. Ability to work independently and prioritize customer satisfaction.

Excellent communication skills, scientific presentation experience, and technical writing ability.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

UK Driver’s license required; role involves 50% travel.

Willingness to travel internationally across Europe.
Preferred:

PhD is preferred.
