The Undergraduate Laboratory R&D scientist Placement for Cytiva is responsible for testing support for the development and innovation of new Laboratory products. This position is part of the R&D Discovery located in Harbourgate, Portsmouth, UK and will be onsite.

What You Will Do
  • Executing protocols/testing in Biochemistry (protein analysis), Molecular Biology (DNA / RNA extraction), Microbiology (cell cultures) to characterise Cytiva Life Science products
  • Troubleshooting protocols as necessary
  • Generating and interpreting data to assign tasks for projects
  • Writing technical reports and presentations
  • Compliance with H&S requirements
Who You Are

Undergraduate, currently in the process of obtaining, a minimum of a BSc in Biochemistry (or related Scientific discipline). It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in Biochemistry and work in a Lab environment.
