What you will do:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute facilities projects within agreed scope, budget, and timelines including refurbishments, equipment upgrades, building improvements, and infrastructure works.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and company policies.

Who you are:

  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience managing small to medium facilities projects.
  • Good knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (COSHH, NEBOSH, PUWER).
  • Proficiency with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) or other facilities management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – to other sites and work at our Langstone Park Facility.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment and any other physical requirements.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Project Management qualification (Prince2, Agile, PMP).
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced Facilities Department.
