What you will do:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute facilities projects within agreed scope, budget, and timelines including refurbishments, equipment upgrades, building improvements, and infrastructure works.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and risk assessments.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Who you are:
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience managing small to medium facilities projects.
- Good knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (COSHH, NEBOSH, PUWER).
- Proficiency with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) or other facilities management systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – to other sites and work at our Langstone Park Facility.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment and any other physical requirements.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Project Management qualification (Prince2, Agile, PMP).
- Previous experience working in a fast paced Facilities Department.
